Fulfilling The Roadmap

Jaikoz 3.2.2 out now fixing the remaining problems in 3.2.0. 3.2 goes someway towards the roadmap with a simpler interface and simpler matching options. But I didn't manage the last option , more automated tests !

As a result there was a few issues with 3.2.0, so lesson learnt I do need more automated tests and I always should do a beta for these major releases !

I've also been busy rewriting the Musicbrainz Search Server, if all goes as plans this update should make it way onto Musicbrainz very soon.

It works now if you install the patch at http://www.jthink.net/jaikoz/jsp/fixes/start.jsp

A new full release will be available this week.

Hi Paul,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask but I could find no other way of contacting you. I've bought a copy of Jaikoz and been using it for a while but only very basically i.e. clicking on autocorrect.

What I want to know (as I use my Mac more these days and only have Jaikoz as an MP3 tagger/organiser) is that can it save files out to a folder structure based on the mp3 tags eg.

Artist Name
Album name 1
Album name 2

etc. If not can you recommend one that you know of for the Mac. I have one for the PC but I want one for my Mac.

Thanks, Adam

Hi Adam http://www.jthink.net/jaikozforum/forums/list.page is the place for these questions, but you can use Action/File And Folder Correct/Correct Subfolder from Tags to do this. It uses the mask defined in Preferences/File and Folder Correct/Rename Folder from Tags
